Freshman Stats Freshman guard Brittany Sandone has earned Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Honorable Mention distinction, the league announced Monday. Sandone played and started in 23 games this season for the Cavaliers and led the team in scoring, averaging 11.6 points per contest.

Sandone led Cabrini in scoring in 11 games and shot a team-best 39.8 percent from beyond the 3-point stripe in 2010-11. She scored a season and career-high 25 points on 7-for-13 shooting overall against rival Eastern University on Jan. 31.

Sandone especially concluded her rookie campaign on a high note, averaging 14.0 points per game and shooting 45.7 percent from the field in her final nine games. During that stretch, she shot 50.0 percent (21-for-42) from long range.
